Walker quickly dubbed the caffeine-loving rodent #coffeerat, telling the New York Post he reminded her of the original viral New York rat sensation, Pizza Rat, but only better.
“I thought of pizza rat and thought this is so much better,” she said. “It’s the rat race and everybody has coffee… that’s a normal commute for us."

Coffee rat is the first city rodent to make a claim to fame since the cigarette-carrying Smoke Roach threatened to end the viral-rat era. He might just prove that Pizza Rat and his friends, Avocado Rat, Pole Rat and Hennessy Rat, have nothing to worry about in the world of celebrity New York City vermin.
Some of the 44,000 or so Twitter users who have seen the video agreed.
Many were quick to speculate about where the latest rodent was headed in such a hurry.
"It's pizza rat's cousin bringing coffee to the pot luck," Sharrell Jeffrey guessed.
"The rat is an intern," another chimed in.
In any case, New Yorkers could all relate to Coffee Rat's need for caffeine.
"He just needs one more cup to make it to 5pm," Twitter user, Full of Frap, wrote. "I feel u bro."
