
GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn, meet your soulmate rat.
A hipster-forward rodent can be seen pulling a fat slice of avocado on the G train tracks at Greenpoint Avenue in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
“Even the rats in #nyc are on trend,” wrote filmmaker Jessica Edwards on Instagram. “Hope he finds some toast. #avocadorat”

Avocado rat joins a growing list of celebrity rodents renowned for their impressive hauls. New York City is currently home to pizza rat, milkshake squirrel and the Drunk Raccoon.
When not documenting growing culinary trends in the rat community, Edwards works as a filmmaker lobbying to rename the Williamsburg Bridge after Sonny Rollins.
