Stork, a New Children's Boutique, Flies into the Area

New children’s boutique Stork, owned by Brooklyn mom Eyana Carballo, is set to open at 726 Franklin Avenue, on March 3.

The shop, which sells clothes, toys and accessories for children six and under, was created by Carballo after she saw a need for quality kids apparel and games in the neighborhood.

According to a release, Carballo's two young children give her "daily doses of creativity" for the shop.

Stork will also sell eco-friendly household products, as well as toys, books, and gifts for children. The shop will also carry items by Appaman, Joe’s Jeans, Egg Baby, See Kai Run, Vans and Mrs. Meyers.

One of the local designers that the shop has partnered with is Elephants with Flowers, run by Fabienne Viola, a Crown Heights artist.

At their grand opening event, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Carballo promises music, snacks, prizes and goodie bags.

A portion of sales every day at the shop will be donated to the League Education Treatment Center, which helps children with autism and developmental disorders.
