Teacher Leadership Program: "Art-Making for Students with Special Needs" at the Brooklyn Museum. Decmber 18, 2014, 4pm-6:30
This program will work with teachers to develop skills in making art with students with disabilities in a classroom or studio.

This month the Teacher Leadership Program will be working with a multitalented art teacher/artist to develop skills for making art with students with disabilities in a classroom or art studio. Come with us as we make art, discuss differentiated learning , and visit our current exhibition “Judith Scott-Bound and Unbound”. Scott was an accomplished artist who had Down syndrome.
This monthly series of free workshops helps teachers engage with our collections and exhibitions. We welcome K-12 educators in all subject areas. For this session, we’d especially love to see those of you who work with students with special needs. Join us at 4pm for coffee, snacks, and conversation; we’ll begin promptly at 4:30.
Please register in advance using the form on our website (www.brooklynmuseum.org/calendar/event/8179) or by phone at 718-501-6236. If you have further questions about this event, email us.
