9pm- Shannon Pelcher
Genre: Folky jazz
For fans of: Tin Pan Alley, 1960s folk and experimental acoustic

With nods to Tin Pan Alley, 1960s folk and experimental acoustic, Shannon Pelcher has one foot dipped in the jazz world and the other planted in singer/songwriter storytelling traditions. Her dreamlike lyrics and lilting vocals are backed by elegantly deft guitar playing, and her sound is both vintage and contemporary, influenced as much by John Coltrane as it is by PJ Harvey.

"Top Local Female Musician. Shannon Pelcher, a Philadelphia-area classically trained guitarist and singer with the Iron Threads, is known for her jazz and blues repertoire. She is influenced by Billie Holiday, Dusty Springfield, Ella Fitzgerald and Tin Pan Alley greats. Following in the footsteps of other great lyrical storytellers, she is a skilled guitarist and is known for her distinctive voice." - Jefferey B. Roth, CBS Philadelphia (Mar 21, 2013)

"The first thing I noticed about Pelcher was her voice. Pelcher has a very beautiful singing tone that is reminiscent of an older, more soulful era. That voice is so mesmerizing that for a few moments I sat there only able to think to myself “I love her voice.” - One Fan at a Time

11pm- The Venetian
Genre: Rock-Opera
For fans of:  List bands that you sound like or if you like this band than they would like you Queen, The Beatles, Muse, Led Zeppelin, The Killers

Originally hailing from Venice, Italy, this classically trained musician made his was to Los Angeles to chase his dream after graduating from the Conservatory Of Music. Being influenced by greats such as Queen, The Beatles and Muse, The Venetian’s obsession with music started at the age of 15. Whiling furthering his studies at The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, The Venetian started working on his debut album, “I Wanna Tell You A Story”. It’s a concept album where death and love are emphasized with a strong warm voice and a crispy guitar sound. Now that the new album (The Valley, another concept album this time inspired by a poem from Edgar Allan Poe) is out he’s ready to rock out the stages of New York.

“If I had to describe The Venetian’s music then I would call it a rock opera but the way he blends so many other genres into his music it can be difficult to define it’s true sound.”   –My Random Juke Box

“The Venetian has an exquisite range and a wonderful voice as well as guitar skills. The music that he creates is unique in comparison to others and will take you on a journey to the carnival. The Venetian is surely going to rise to the top with his talent, and I would more than happily say that The Venetian is on the list of musicians to watch for in the coming year! “-http://sparrowwren.weebly.com
