BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A pair of gunmen shot and injured five people standing along a Central Brooklyn street, authorities said.

Surveillance video shows the two men sneak outside a Sterling Street building late Monday before suddenly opening fire. They shot at a candlelight vigil, the New York Daily News reported.

Bullets grazed the heads of a 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, NYPD said. Two women, 29 and 39, suffered gunshot wounds to their back and shoulder, respectively. A man, 30, suffered a gunshot wound to his back.

The victims all checked into Kings County Hospital and were listed in stable condition.

The shooting took place at 10:54 p.m. outside 454 Sterling St., near Brooklyn Avenue between East Flatbush and Crown Heights, authorities said. The shooters ran south on Brooklyn Avenue, police said.
