Woman Raped At Knifepoint Near Crown Heights Park: Cops

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for the man who raped a woman at knifepoint in a midnight attack in Crown Heights this week.

The man grabbed the 19-year-old woman from behind as she was walking near East New York and Ralph avenues around 12:15 a.m. on Monday, police said.

The attacker put a kitchen knife to the woman's throat and threatened to kill her if she resisted. He then led her into a building at 672 Ralph Ave., where he raped her, police said.

The woman was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was treated and released. The man fled on foot after the attack, police said.
