Woman Shoved By NYPD Cop At George Floyd Protest Calls For Arrest
Dounya Zoyer said she has suffered a concussion and seizures since being attacked by cop in viral video following Barclays protest.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK —A young woman who a NYPD officer shoved in a now-infamous video taken after a Brooklyn protest over the killing of George Floyd called for the cop's arrest.
Dounya Zayer made that call Tuesday morning, flanked by her new attorney Tahanie Aboushi, outside the Barclays Center. It's where a May 29 once-peaceful protest descended into violence as police pepper sprayed and beat demonstrators.
The protesters moved to neighborhood streets, where Zayer crossed paths with Officer Vincent D'Andraia, who shoved her violently to the ground and walked away. It was all caught onvideo viewed millions of times.

Zayer has said she suffered seizures and a concussion following the attack. She said during the news conference that there are good cops, and singled out those who took a knee in solidarity with protests against police violence.
"But these officers must be the standard and not the exception," she said, according to video of the conference posted online.

Aboushi, a civil rights attorney, is running for Manhattan District Attorney. They're calling for Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez to arrest D'Andraia.
Brooklyn elected officials on Monday — including state Sen. Zellnor Myrie, who was handcuffed and pepper sprayed by police alongside state Assembly Member Diana Richardson — called for D'Andraia's firing and for his supervisor Deputy Inspector Craig Edelman to be removed from the force.
