The Smithtown Library - Nesconset Building

Elaine Ryder-Thompson's Art Exhibit and unveiling of her painting of only signer of Declaration of Independence from Suffolk County, William &nbsp;Floyd. The painting also includes his home "Old Mastic House, the 13 star American flag &amp; Declaration of Independence. Thompson is exhibiting 49 works of her art at the exhibit until August 29. All the art is for sale also including Floyd prints.

The Great Lawn

Returning to the Great Lawn on August 1st-2nd for the Mary O. Fritchie Juried Fine Art and Crafts Show is New Jersey artist Leni Paquet-Morante. 
Recognized with a 2025 solo exhibition at Princeton University Art Museum, Paquet-Morante's work includes paintings outdoors along shorelines and shallow water systems including lotus fields, and interpretive work in her studio which is located on Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. A comprehensive talent, her canvases are presented in her own handcrafted cherry wood frames.
Paquet-Morante's paintings and works on paper have been widely collected on Long Island since she first arrived on the local art festival circuit five years ago. Sponsoring the M.O.Fritchie event, the Westhampton Chamber of Commerce awarded her ribbons for both Painting (2025) and Best Booth (2024).
