"Dear Dude" is an online advice column designed to offer contemporary insights from the male perspective on all things around life, love and the pursuit of happiness.

The "dude" behind "Dear Dude" has been offering personal and professional advice to scores of contemporaries and colleagues for more than 25 years.

Please note that the "dude" in "Dear Dude" is not "The Dude" from The Big Lebowski, brilliantly played by Jeff Bridges.

Also note that the “dude” is not a licensed psychotherapist that charges hundreds of dollars and hour nor has a recliner or an ottoman.  This column is meant to offer friendly advice with a little fun, where appropriate.
