Remember Those Lost on Sept. 11, 2001

The United States is the most extraordinary nation in the history of nations and
for that each generation of Americans has paid a terrible price, including
those who were sadly lost, or forever had their lives altered, by the events of
eleven years ago this morning.  We remember, and honor, each and every one
of them today.

Their loss reminds us that if we are to enjoy the blessings of a free society, we
must commit ourselves to vigilance at home and abroad to defend America and her citizens.

We owe it to those who preceded us, and those who will follow us, to protect and
defend the liberties that continues to make our country what Abraham Lincoln
described as “the last best hope of Earth.
