Convertible Stolen From Gas Pump At 7-Eleven: Police

The woman said her convertible was stolen from the gas pump by two men who fled, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A car was stolen from the gas pump at a 7-Eleven in Riverhead, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place at 6:30 p.m. Friday night at the 7-Elven located at 1733 Old Country Road. A woman reported that her 2016 Audi A-3, two-door white convertible, with a black top, NY registration JSE5985, was taken from the gas pump area by two men who fled and headed west on County Road 58.

Riverhead Police detectives responded; anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the theft of the vehicle is urged to contact the Riverhead Police Department at (631) 727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential.
