Laurel Man Burglarized Riverhead Home: Police
He stole items from the basement, police say.
CALVERTON, NY — A Laurel man was arrested after he burglarized a Calverton home, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Lawrence W. Connor, 30, was arrested on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. and charged with one count of second-degree burglary, a felony.
The burglary took place on July 18, when Connor entered a home on Edwards Avenue and stole items from the basement, police said.

Connor was arrested at his home, transported to Riverhead police headquarters for processing, and taken to Riverhead Justice Court for arraignment, police said.
Connor was remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility; he was also wanted by Southold Town Police on an active bench warrant, police said.
