Motorcyclist Injured In Shoreham Crash
A man was airlifted to the hospital following the crash Friday night.
SHOREHAM, NY — Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured a motorcyclist in Shoreham on Friday.
A 58-year-old Manorville woman was pulling her 2012 Dodge Challenger out of Shoreham Plaza when she struck a 43-year-old Westhampton man operating a 2016 Triumph motorcycle westbound on Route 25A at 8:35 p.m., police said.
The motorcyclist was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries; the woman was not injured, police said. Police did not release their names.
