Police seek help locating 15-year-old who left Timothy Hill Ranch (riverheadlocal.com) — Riverhead residents are being asked to help police locate 15-year-old Andrew Rigby, who left Timothy Hill Ranch on Middle Road Sunday evening and was last seen walking west on Middle Road in Riverhead. He's described as 6-foot-1, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a black blazer, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Anyone with information is urged to call Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500.

Cannabis applicant sues Riverhead again, challenging town code's minimum distance between dispensaries (riverheadlocal.com) — Riverhead is facing a new lawsuit challenging its 2,500-foot minimum distance rule between cannabis dispensaries, with one Old Country Road applicant claiming the town is unfairly delaying their project while advancing a nearby competitor. The case, now before Justice George Nolan, could determine how many dispensaries ultimately open in town and how closely Riverhead can regulate them beyond state cannabis rules.

Suffolk Transit considering proposals to swap several fixed-route buses with on-demand service (news12.com) — Suffolk County Transit is weighing changes that include extending the Suffolk Clipper express bus from Riverhead to Hicksville, potentially giving local riders a faster link across the Island.
