Police: Drunk Flanders Man Crashes Into Utility Pole
The incident occurred on Sunday morning.

A Flanders man was charged with a DWI after he crashed into a utility police in Flanders on Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.
Belizario Escobar, 29, was involved in an accident when his car left the roadway striking a utility pole on Glider Avenue in Flanders at about 2:11 a.m., police said.
The responding officers found that Escobar was intoxicated and he was arrested, according to police.

He was charged with DWI and driving with .08 or more of 1 percent alcohol in blood, unlicensed operation and failing to maintain his lane of travel, police said.
He was held overnight for morning arraignment.
