Police: Riverhead Clerk Arrested For Second Time For Selling Alcohol to Minors

The clerk was arrested once before during an underage drinker enforcement operation last year, police say.

A Riverhead clerk was arrested for selling alcohol to a minor during an underage drinker enforcement operation in the Town of Riverhead on Wednesday, according to State Police.

During the operation, one store was cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative, police said.

Yan Fan Yeung, 44, a cashier at Lucky Wine and Liquors in Riverhead was arrested and charged with second degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, according to police.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court at a later date.

Yeung was arrested once before for first degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage during an underage drinker enforcement operation last December, police said.
