Riverhead Bank Robbed
Police searching for man who robbed Capital One Bank Tuesday afternoon.

A man robbed the Capital One Bank on East Main Street in Riverhead Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Riverhead Police say they received a call of a robbery at the bank at 140 East Main Street at 2:42 p.m.
Police are searching for a man described as a tall, thin black male, who was wearing gloves and sunglasses, police said.

The robber fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash in a shopping bag after giving the teller a note, police said.
