Riverhead Man, 75, Missing, Possibly Headed Out Of State: Cops

He left a residence on foot and has not been seen or heard from since, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a missing Riverhead man, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department responded to a residence located on Hubbard Avenue in Riverhead Saturday where family members present reported that Frank A. Rehm Jr., 75, had left on foot seven hours earlier and had not been seen or in contact with the family since, police said.

Rehm may be possibly making his way out of state as learned at the start of the investigation; he was last reported seen in the area of Columbus Avenue at about 1 p.m. by his employer, police said.

Riverhead Police are asking for the public's help in locating Rehm. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department's detective division at 631-727-4500 ext. 312.
