Riverhead Police Welcome 3 New Officers

The town board welcomed new Officers Cole Stasiukiewicz, Courtney E. Weber and Daniel J. Hoffman​ recently.

RIVERHEAD, NY — The Riverhead Police Department welcomed three new officers recently.

At the March 5 Riverhead Town board meeting, a resolution was unanimously adopted by the board appointing the three new, full-time police officers to replace Officers Mark Roberts and Kerri Davis and Det. Dixon Palmer who all recently retired from the force with a total of over 83 years of distinguished service to the town, police said.

The new officers include Cole Stasiukiewicz, Courtney E. Weber and Daniel J. Hoffman.

Riverhead Police Chief David Hegermiller thanked the board for their commitment to public safety.

"The new recruits will start on Sunday, March 17, and are ready to hit the ground running since they already have their police certification. We all wish them safe, healthy and successful careers with the Department," Hegermiller said.
