Riverhead School District Teachers and Staff Recognized At Superintendent's Conference Day

Several teachers and staff were recognized for their work and time at Riverhead School District.

The teachers and staff of the 2013-2014 school year were recognized at the District’s Welcome Back Day on the Superintendent’s Conference Day for the Riverhead Central School District.

Middle School Music Teachers Crystal Crespo, Regan Burns, Nadine Greenberg and Annette Brewer were recognized at Middle and Secondary Teachers of the Year.

The Elementary Teacher of the Year was awarded to Pulaski Street School Literacy Coach Amy Brennan and the Staff Member of the Year was awarded to Vicky Smith, an aide at Roanoke Avenue Elementary School.

Sam Schneider, assistant superintendent of business and finance, also recognized teachers and staff for their service of 25, 30 and 35 years to the Riverhead Central School District.

Mildred Nash, Sharon Martocchia, Ellen Rausch, Jeanne Bubka, Robert Lee Gilliam, Robert Nash, Jr., Elizabeth Chappell, Edwin George and Dorice Brown.

For 30 years:

Thomas Doherty, Steven Jackson, Cynthia Hynds, Brenda Flood-Childress, Gene Siller and Sylvester Gilliam.

For 35 years:

Dorthy Fraser and Barbara Vail.
