Search On For Man Who Crashed Into Mailbox, Fled Scene: Cops

MANORVILLE, NY — The search is on for the individual involved in a hit-and-run in Manorville in January, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who was driving an Optimum vehicle on Ocean View Boulevard in Manorville on January 18 at 3 p.m., police said. The vehicle struck a mailbox and the driver fled the scene, police said.
The suspect was described as clean-shaven, in his late 50s, with salt and pepper hair, police said.
