Woman Assaults Man At Laundromat: Cops

She told police she'd been in a physical dispute with a man but was later arrested herself, authorities say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman was arrested after a dispute with a man at a laundromat in Riverside, police said.

According to Riverhead Police, a 911 call came in on March 4 at 7:54 p.m. from a female stating that she was in a physical dispute with a man at the laundromat; police determined that the 911 caller had assaulted the man, police said.

Tonya M. Minter, 34, of Flanders, was arrested and charged with one count of second degree assault; she was held for arraignment in Riverhead Justice Court, police said.
