Woman Found Dead In Woods On LI: Police
A man was out jogging when he found the woman, police say.
MANORVILLE, NY — A woman's body was found in the woods in Manorville Thursday, police said.
A home health aide visiting a resident of Villas at North Pine Hills was jogging when he discovered the woman on the ground just east of Winding Path and called 911 at 10:43 a.m, Suffolk County police said.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead by a physician's assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.

An autopsy will be conducted.
