Westchester Man Faces 13-Count Indictment In 'Brutal' Rape And Assault Case: DA

YONKERS, NY — A man who stalked a Westchester woman before committing unspeakable acts of violence is now facing a slew of felony and misdemeanor charges, according to prosecutors.

Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that 50-year-old Gerardo Flores, of Yonkers, was arraigned on Tuesday, on a 13-count indictment charging him with: first-degree rape; third-degree rape; four counts of first-degree burglary; three counts of second-degree assault; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon; two counts of second-degree criminal trespass; and first-degree stalking.

His charges are in connection to the alleged rape and assault of a woman in Yonkers in December of 2024, and his alleged actions in the months leading up to the incident.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim in this case," Cacace said. "The acts alleged in this indictment are brutal. No one should have to suffer from such acts of depravity. Our office will do everything in our power to deliver justice for this victim."

The investigation was conducted by the Yonkers Police Department, and the case is being prosecuted by Sex Crimes and Human Trafficking Bureau Chief Michelle Lopez.
