Archbishop Stepinac High School Inducts 51 Students into National Honor Society Chapter
Continuing a Stepinac tradition of academic excellence and preparing young men for post- secondary success

Archbishop Stepinac High School, the renowned boys Catholic school, recently inducted 51 students into its National Honor Society (NHS) chapter during an induction ceremony held at the school, 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains.
The NHS was created to recognize the nation’s outstanding high school students. Students are inducted into the NHS based on their high academic performance, their service to the school and community, their demonstrated leadership skills, and their good character.
Noted for its 68-year tradition of shaping young men for post-secondary success, Stepinac has been recognized by prominent educators as the standard bearer of curriculum innovation.

In 2013, it became the first high school in the nation to develop and implement an all- digital textbook library which became the advanced tech component of Stepinac’s personalized, blended learning environment.
That development led to the establishment of the Honors Academy—the first-of-its-kind in the region—further reinforcing Stepinac’s leadership in promoting academic excellence. The Honor Academy’s three-year personalized learning program, which got underway in the 2016 fall semester, will enable high achieving students to pursue advanced studies in either engineering, health sciences (medicine), economics/finance or law.
