Aspiring Music Techies Find New Home at Dobbs Ferry’s Standing Ovation Music Technology Institute

Halfway through their five-week introductory summer program, students in the brand new Standing Ovation Music Technology Institute at Riverworks in Dobbs Ferry are calling it “the real deal.”

Taught by Matt Noble (center at keyboard), accomplished producer, songwriter and engineer with Rihanna, Rod Stewart and Michael Jackson among his credits, the program brings authentic real world experience into the classroom. Combined with brand new, custom built iMac workstations equipped with the latest ProTools and Logic Pro engineering software and a fully equipped recording studio, Standing Ovation MTI is providing a unique opportunity in Westchester County.

“I’ve been in a lot of recording studios,” observes student Todd Siesal. “They all have something, but this studio has absolutely everything.”

The summer introductory program running through August 8tha comprehensive overview of the vital components of creating a fully-completed musical recording. 

Limited space is still available for one and two week registrations for the weeks of July 28. New courses and seminars will be offered beginning in September.
