Mercy Baseball

The Mercy College baseball team dropped today's (Feb. 27) season opener to Adelphi, 10-5. Although the Mavericks struggled at the outset, they plated five runs in the sixth inning and the bullpen combined to throw four no-hit innings to close out the game.

At the Centennial Conference Indoor Championship at Ursinus on Feb. 25th, Julian Saliani (Irv.'10) finished 16th in the men's 3,000 meter race, clocked at 8:57.97, with Johns Hopkins finishing 2nd in the meet, scoring 132 points.
