Dobbs Ferry HS Principal To Take Post in Korea

Kenneth Yi informed parents and staff this week that he'll be leaving at the end of the school year.

Dobbs Ferry High School Principal Kenneth Yi is leaving the district and the country this summer to join a management team creating an International Baccalaureate school in Korea. 

Yi notified parents and staff in a letter Feb. 7 sent through the district's emergency alert notification service.

"Though I make this announcement with great personal sadness my family and I are excited to be moving back to my homeland," Yi said in the letter.

He encouraged parents concerned about the transition to visit with him over the next four months. "In the meantime, I want to assure you that I will continue to work with our dedicated professional staff in advancing academic excellence for all students of Dobbs Ferry until my last day."
