Television stars including Jane Lynch, Matt Bomer, Rachel Bloom, Jason George, Adam Shankman and Cat Deeley were among the presenters recognizing the nation’s outstanding student television producers and content creators.

The awards, which mirror the Emmys selection process, were judged by active Television Academy members and reflect industry standards of quality, imagination and innovation across 13 categories including comedy, drama, documentary and unscripted series. This was the first win for Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications television station (ICTV).

The Emmy Award ceremony was held three days after Ithaca College’s graduation ceremony where Stiefel was awarded a B.S. degree in television production from the Park School of Communications.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Ithaca College for providing me with the opportunity to learn the skills I need to be successful in this field. Working at ICTV for the past four years, and learning from my professors at the Park School, has given me a great foundation, and I’m excited for what comes next,” she said.
