ARGENTINA: The Scenic Southern Melting Pot

Irma and Bob Mandel, the Travel Lights Duo, return to the Irvington Public Library to host an armchair tour of Argentina on Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m.

Included on this "itinerary" will be colorful and cultured Buenos Aires; the peaceful rolling pastures of the Pampas; the spectacular Iguazu Falls; the jagged snowy peaks of the lake region in Patagonia and the far-flung Tierra del Fuego, where you will see penguin rookeries and fur seal colonies lounging on glaciers.

Irma and Bob Mandel are retired teachers who now travel the world, living for weeks in each place they visit, in the hopes of learning more about the culture and the people they meet.
