The Westchester County Genealogical Society welcomes Marian Wood with a talk on Genealogy Web Message Boards & Blogs on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10am. The meeting will take place at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 600 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry which is across from Mercy College on route 9.
Marian Wood is an author of college marketing textbooks. Previously, she was a bank marketing executive and retail manager. Ms. Wood received a MBA from Long Island University as well as a BA from City College of New York. In this presentation, she will provide step-by-step instructions for searching surname and geographical message boards, show members how to post genealogy queries, and discuss a few tricks that will help both experienced researchers and beginners.
