Mercy College will host Ambassadors Byrganym Aitimova and Ahmad Kamal for a panel discussion, “Kazakhstan—A Giant in Asia,” on Tuesday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., at its Dobbs Ferry campus.
Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Byrganym Aitimova will join Ambassador Ahmad Kamal, former permanent representative of Pakistan and founding president of the Ambassador’s Club at the United Nations, to discuss Kazakhstan’s history, culture, and its relationships with neighboring countries and with the United States.
The event, sponsored by Mercy’s new Center for Global Engagement, is free and open to the public.
