The Westchester County Genealogical Society welcomes Debra Braverman with a talk on New York City Vital Records on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10am. The meeting will take place at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 600 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry which is across from Mercy College on route 9.
Debra Braverman is a professional genealogist specializing in due diligence for probate and nineteenth and twentieth century New York City research. She has been involved in genealogical research since 1987. Braverman is a member of a number of genealogical organizations, including the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Genealogical Speakers Guild, the National Genealogical Society and JGS(NY), among others. She is an alumna of the National Institute on Genealogical Research in Washington D.C. Ms. Braverman lectures both on the local and national level. She is a director of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
