
The Hudson River Museum is now offering a new program series, 'Science Sundays', one Sunday of the month. The program, which is free with Museum admission, focuses on astronomy and environmental science.
On Dec. 19, at 2:30 p.m., "join News 12 meteorologist Joe Rao for a look at eclipses past, present, and future. He'll preview the December 20 and 21 lunar eclipse and look back to the role of an eclipse in the story of the Star of Bethlehem. Joe Rao, one of the best-known broadcast meteorologists in the Northeast, appears on News 12. Also known for his work popularizing astronomy, he has lectured at New York City's Hayden Planetarium, written for the New York Times, Natural History Magazine, and Space.com."
