Dan Cohen (Ardsley '08) of Mt. St. Vincent had a lucrative week with his stick, beginning with the first of 3 road games at Thomas of Waterville, Me. , where he had 2 goals and 2 assist in the 14-4 win, while at Wheelock of Boston on the 15tth, he had 2 goals, 1 assist, and 1 give back in the 20-4 wipeout, and then on the 17th, in a close 7-6 at Wells of Aurora , N.Y. , Cohen had 3 goals, with the Dolphins currently at 5-3, and with the Ardsley alumnus leading his team in scoring, with 23 goals.
In a 15-8 loss to Seton Hall on the 12th, Tom Murphy (Hastings '08) of Pace had 2 give backs in the game, while in a 17-9 loss at NYIT on the 17th, he scored 1 goal, and had 2 give backs.

Softball Award Winners

Here is the link to the press release outlining Mercy softball’s two ECC honors this week: freshman catcher/DH Jackie Couillard (Wolcott, Conn.) earned Rookie of the Week praise, while sophomore pitcher Alexandra Puglisi (Shelton, Conn.) was selected to the ECC Player of the Week Honor Roll.
Softball Double Dip
The Mercy College softball team ran into some tough pitching vs. Dowling today (March 20) and was swept in doubleheader action by final scores of 4-1 and 5-1.

Women's Lacrosse
The Mercy College women's lacrosse team played an incredible game last night against now 7-1 Florida Southern College, ultimately falling 9-8 on a last-gasp goal with 27 seconds left. Junior Julie Darnulc and sophomore Kristen Znaniecki each recorded three points in the contest.
