Woman Arrested in Ardsley for Driving Drunk: Police
Police said she was also belligerent and resisted arrest.
ARDSLEY, NY — State Police arrested a Greenburgh woman Wednesday and charged her with being intoxicated while driving.
The 47-year-old faces two charges: driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
Police pulled her over on I-87 in Ardsley, they said, because she was speeding.

Upon finding her intoxicated, police said she refused to comply with any commands and she became belligerent and physically resisted arrest.
She was taken into custody and was processed at the Tarrytown barracks.

The woman's blood alcohol level was determined to be 0.14 percent.
She was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets.
She is scheduled to appear in the Village of Ardsley Court May 23.
