Hastings High School Students Collect Thanksgiving Food for Charity

The Hasting High School club Hastings KIDS (Kids Involved Doing Service) is collecting items for the Children’s Village Thanksgiving Food Drive, the group announced.

The club is collecting rice (brown rice, wild rice, white rice); canned products such as corn, heart soups or sweet potatoes; pumpkin pie mix; cranberry sauce; stuffing; pasta; and tuna.

A collection box has been set up outside of the high school’s main office labeled Children’s Village Thanksgiving Items.

Please help these families celebrate Thanksgiving and send in your items through November 16th,” the group wrote in an email to parents and staff.
