Hastings Schools Seek Volunteers for Annual New Book Fair

Hastings schools’ annual book sale is scheduled for Oct. 28-31, and the effort is seeking volunteers to help out. Below is a note sent out to parents from organizer Kate Greener requesting assistance:

Hello Parents,

Halloween is right around the corner and that means it’s time for the PTSA’s annual New Book Fair at Hillside. There will be lots of exciting books for kids of all ages and a few for adults too. The fair takes place Tuesday, October 28 thru Friday, October 31 and we need lots of volunteers to help set up and run the fair. It’s very easy and fun. During the fair you can help kids pick out books and take payments. There are also set up and clean up times. Who wouldn’t love working in a bookstore for a few hours!

You can commit as little as 1/2 hour or as much as you want. There are even a few evening hours on Wednesday.
