Irvington High School Juniors Awarded with College Book Awards
The awards were presented at the annual ceremony.

Irvington, NY — Irvington High School recognized 14 outstanding juniors at its annual College Book Awards ceremony.
The book awards were given to students, who were identified as the top of their class, by colleges and universities, according to a district spokesman.

Each college or university provides administrators with general guidelines to help them align each recipient to the school’s book. Students are selected for demonstrating academic excellence and demonstrating exceptional work both inside and outside the classroom, district officials said.

The awards went to the following students:

- Emma Castiblanco (Mount Holyoke College)
- Riley Conklin (George Washington University)
- Emma DeRose (Dartmouth College)
- Hope Gray (Saint Michael’s College)
- Bradley Goldsmith (Cornell University)
- Ryan Meng Killeen (Harvard University)
- Zoe Mermelstein (Yale University)
- Clara Montgomery (University of Pennsylvania)
- Lydia Pak (Columbia University)
- Evan Pickar (Brandeis University)
- Atsuyo Shimizu (Smith College)
- Gabe Siegel (Saint Michael’s College)
- Yuri Sugihara (Wellesley College)
