The Mercy College men’s lacrosse squad bested East Coast Conference-foe Molloy College in thrilling fashion tonight (March 28), 12-11 in Rockville Centre, N.Y. The 12th and go-ahead goal was scored with 57 seconds remaining in regulation by John Fitzgerald (Yorktown, N.Y.).
In addition, subbing in for an injured T.J. DiCarlo (reigning Division II Goalkeeper of the Year), second-string goalkeeper Mike Cashman (Bethpage, N.Y.) recorded eight saves in his first career collegiate start and kept the Mavericks in the contest long enough for them to pull out an exhilarating victory.

Women's Lax
The Mercy College women's lacrosse team took No. 14 Dowling to the wire in the team's ECC opener, falling 10-9 despite another impressive display from junior Julie Darnulc and several other Mavericks.
