Parole Granted For 'Fatal Attraction' Murderer

Carolyn Warmus had an affair with the husband of the woman she was convicted of later killing.

GREENBURGH, NY — Carolyn Warmus, who was convicted of killing her lover's wife in Greenburgh in 1989, will be released from Bedford Hills prison after being granted parole. Warmus, 55, was sentenced in 1992 to 25 years to life for the murder of Betty Jean Solomon.

She maintained her innocence in what was called the "Fatal Attraction" murder, the Journal News said.

Warmus was teaching at Edgemont' Greenville Elementary School and began an affair with Paul Solomon, who was also a teacher at the school.
