Girls Lacrosse Clinic

The Mercy College women's lacrosse team hosted a free clinic for Irvington High School's JV and Varsity girls lacrosse programs yesterday (Feb. 29). It's a pretty cool initiatve, and they will host several more as the spring progresses.

The Mercy College baseball team fell to Pace University, 10-0, today (March 2).

Softball

Lauren Bernstein (White Plains-Masters '08) and the Skidmore softball team opened the 2012 season on Feb. 23rd, against Lyndon State (Vt.) at the Adirondack Sports Complex in Glens Falls, with the teams playing in a twin bill. In game one, she played in left field, batted 1-4, had 1 run, and 1 rbi in the 7-2 win. In the night cap, and 8-0 blanking of the foe, she went 2-3 at the plate, scored 2 runs, had 1 rbi, and had 1 free pass.
