Baseball
In their final game at Myrtle Beach on the 4th, the Johnson and Wales Hawks lost to Manhattanville, with shortstop Alex Pezzuto (H '10) having 1 hit in 4 at bats, walking twice, fanning twice, an having 5 assists in the infield.

In an 11-4 win at home with Mercy on the 4th, leadoff batter Chris Roemer (Ards. '08) batted 1-4, scored a run, had 1 r.b.i., and struck out once. At St. Thomas Aquinas on the 6th, in a 7-4 loss, he went 0-2 and had 1 r.b.i. On the 7th, in a slugfest with Manhattanville, a team that scored a total of 19 runs in the first 2 frames, he went 3-5, including a 2 bagger, scored 2 runs and had a like number of r.b.i.'s, in the 24-12 loss.
In an 8-2 win over Husson at Auburndale, FL on the 4th, Andrew Pezzuto (H '07) scored 1 run and fanned once in the game.

Mercy Baseball
The Mercy College baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader to Chestnut Hill in Florida on Friday morning (March 9), by scores of 7-4 and 8-1.
Sophomore Ken Post continued his hot hitting and is batting .467 with a .533 slugging percentage on the young season, and sophomore Jesus Jaile belted Mercy's first home run since April 14, 2010 to put the Mavericks ahead in the first game. More details can be found in the recap here.

The Mercy College baseball team suffered a 5-2 defeat to Philadelphia University in Florida yesterday (March 12). Some details can be found here.
