Serial Abuser Who Violently Sexually Assaulted 2 Victims Gets 45 Years

He repeatedly sexually abused one underage victim, and raped another victim who was incapacitated at the time.

YONKERS, NY — A man who sexually assaulted two victims in Westchester, has been sentenced to decades behind bars.

Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that 38-year-old Eleuterio Duran, was sentenced on Tuesday to 45 years total in prison.

In December, the Yonkers man was convicted of felonies related to his violent, sexual abuse of two victims, one of whom is a minor.

The 38-year-old was sentenced to 25 years in state prison for offenses committed against the child victim and 20 years for the offense committed against the second victim. The sentences will run consecutively.

Duran, who was sentenced by Judge Robert Prisco, was also sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision.

"We are pleased with the substantial prison sentence given to Eleuterio Duran," Cacace said. "We hope that this sentence will offer some relief to the victims in this case, both of whom testified courageously in this trial. They will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. The hard work and determination of the investigators and prosecutors in this case have not gone unnoticed. I am extremely grateful for their efforts."

Between 2020 and 2023, Duran repeatedly sexually abused and raped the underage victim. Between 2012 and 2013, Duran also raped another victim who was incapacitated at the time of the assault.

The investigation was conducted by the Yonkers Police Department and the Special Prosecutions Division. The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant DA Stephanie Baehr and former Senior Assistant DA Charlotte Gudis, of the Special Prosecutions Division.
