Stepinac HS Drama Club Begins Rehearsals for Regional Premiere of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame" Musical

Quasimodo, Esmeralda & Other Memorable Victor Hugo Characters Will Come to Life During 5 Performances, April 28-May 7

Rehearsals are underway for Archbishop Stepinac High School Drama Club’s forthcoming regional premiere production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Shown in photo rehearsing are Stepinac freshman Jeremy Fuentes (right) who will pay the lead male character of Quasimodo and Lakeland High School senior Gabbie Sansone who will portray Esmeralda in the musical based on the Victor Hugo classic.

They are among the 60 students comprising the entire cast. The male roles will be performed by students from the all-boys Stepinac and female roles by young women from neighboring high schools. Five performances will be staged at Stepinac’s Major Bowes Auditorium, 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY, at 7:30 p.m., April 28, 29, May 5, 6 and at 2 p.m., May 7.
