They're also exploring changes tied to an old trolley bridge that once linked downtown Rochester to Geneva, hoping to add docks and new waterfront features that could refresh a favorite local gathering spot.

• Rochester man pleads guilty to receiving child porn (rochesterfirst.com) — A Rochester man has pleaded guilty in federal court to receiving child pornography, following an investigation that began with an intercepted fentanyl shipment on Jefferson Road. Authorities say his phone revealed sexually explicit communications and payments to minors in the Rochester area over several years. Sentencing will be scheduled later, with a possible lengthy prison term and fine.
