The South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Scott Jackson Wiley, will be performing at Molloy College Madison Theatre in Rockville Centre on Friday, October 19th at 8 pm. The program features music from Hollywood and Broadway including the E.T. Soundtrack Suite by John Williams, , Richard Rodgers Medley from the "Sound of Music", Meredith Wilson’s "Seventy Six Trombones," Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s "Adventures of Robin Hood" and the music of George Gershwin as well as other Hollywood blockbusters.
The 65-member South Shore Symphony Orchestra, one of the premier orchestras of Long Island, is an associate of the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts, based in Rockville Centre, New York.
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the door and are $18 for orchestra seating, $12 for students and $15 for seniors and Guild members. This event is free for Molloy College Alumni and current students.
