Police: Oceanside Man Had Child Porn on Computer

A 46-year-old Oceanside man was arrested on a child porn possession charge on Monday, police said.

According to police, James Romanelli, of 434 Christopher Street, was found to have child pornography images on his computer, police said.

A prior investigation led detectives to Romanelli, who was placed under arrest at 2:10 p.m. Thursday in Oceanside, police said.

Romanelli is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and will be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
