• Tour de Valor: 200+ Mile Bicycle Journey announces confirmed route stops (saratogian.com) — Rocky Point will host the finish of the inaugural Tour de Valor, a 200+ mile bicycle journey ending at the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Memorial on October 24. Riders, veterans, and supporters will gather there to honor military-connected families and add loved ones' names to banners carried across New York. 
• Suffolk high school football roundup from Week 4 (newsday.com) — Rocky Point football fans can celebrate a big League III road win, powered by Peyton Reisinger's 247 rushing yards, four touchdowns, and 203 passing yards against West Babylon. The county-wide roundup also highlights other Suffolk matchups and standout performances that shape the league picture around Rocky Point's competitors.
